Glass as a raw material
Genuine glass, genuinely good!
At PAN-DUR, we believe that genuine glass is the ideal raw material for commercial refrigerated cabinets. The ability to close refrigerated cabinets is important from both an environmental perspective and in terms of the quality of the food. The high-quality raw material glass is perfectly suited for this purpose and can be remelted and reused as many times as necessary. Using recycled glass to manufacture new glass products has a positive environmental impact in a number of different ways: it lowers energy consumption levels during the production process, saves raw materials and therefore also cuts costs. Like no other material, glass is both a raw material and recyclable material at the same time. Glass is made exclusively from natural or nature-identical, inorganic raw materials, the majority of which exist or can be produced in Germany. All of the raw materials are found abundantly in nature and disposal does not present any problems.
First-class and long-lasting presentation of merchandise
In comparison to acrylic glass (Plexiglas is a brand name like “Kleenex”, etc.), genuine glass is completely resistant to aging and highly resistant to scratching. Thus, it can also be cleaned easily and hygienically. Another huge advantage of genuine glass is that it is completely diffusion resistant. Total and permanent transparency allows for first-class merchandise presentation and offers a transparent overview of the merchandise assortment.
Unlike acrylic glass, genuine glass does not burn. It combines transparency with safety, preserves the taste and freshness of foodstuffs and therefore not only protects your sensitive products for a long time, but also enables you to present your merchandise in a sustainable and appetizing manner, thus promoting sales. In our view, if you want to present your merchandise in a hygienic, attractive and safe manner, there is nothing better than glass.
