PAN-DUR Glass
Process technology expertise meets passion for glass
The result is innovative glass elements. All of the knowledge we have of glass as a raw material and working material is channeled into the development and manufacturing processes used to produce these glass elements. We are passionate about achieving sustainability in the form of energy efficiency and durability as well as sounding out the various possibilities offered by this valuable raw material – glass. In our production processes, we make full use of the latest technology and our specific knowledge of glass processes.
Anti-reflective surfaces, heat-reflecting layers or vacuum glazing? No problem!
We use: full convection ovens so the glass can be heated at a consistent speed. In this way, even low-e coated and anti-reflective glass can be bent and tempered safely. Many of our production steps are carried out in a fully automatic manner without any handling steps in between. This ensures that results are precise and reproducible. One example of this is our cutting-edge, tool-free glass bending technology.
We have also gathered a lot of expertise in the field of reaction chemistry: in adhesive bonding during production processes for insulating glass. This is a crucial precondition for the sustainability of glass elements if they are to be used, for example, as energy-efficient refrigerated cabinets in supermarkets.
Crystal-clear insider knowledge: Ever heard of a self-healing effect for the transparent edge?
A stunning appearance and tangible intrinsic values such as durability, low energy consumption and low-maintenance operation are important factors, particularly in the case of refrigerated cabinets. For this reason, we have developed a special procedure for manufacturing a transparent edge for multi-glazed, three-dimensionally formed insulating glass that enables the edge to reach its full potential in terms of stress resistance, scratch resistance, impact toughness and general durability when used improperly. And it gets even better: the reflow effect ensures that any subsequent scratches are filled. A built-in “self-healing effect” that saves you time, money and hassle.
